DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FAQS
What are your destination wedding photography fees and prices?
You will pleased to know, our destination wedding photography packages are the same as our regular wedding photography packages. However, our clients with destination weddings are responsible for the following extra costs:
2) Baggage fees
3) Hotel accommodations (typically two nights but dependent on the length of the event)
4) Rental car (typically three days, depending on the length of the event)
5) Meals for the day of the event(s)
6) Per Diem: $45/day per photographer for meals on travel days and days not on the events.
How many photographers will we need to fly?
The number of photo and cinema professionals attending will depend on your package, timeline, guest count and program. Up to three members of our team may need to be flown in and out. Additionally, we like to depart for the destination a day in advance. This is so we have plenty of time to scout out your wedding venue and to ensure we will be on time on the day of your wedding. Regarding the departing flight, we prefer to have tickets booked for the day after your last event (preferably at a later time).
Do I need to book the flights?
It is not necessary that you book the flights. However, if you’d like to use your travel miles/rewards to book flights on your own, please send us the flight information before booking so that we may approve the details (flight times, transfers, layovers, etc.)
Do you offer discounted packages for destination weddings?
We do not offer discounted packages for our destination weddings since the prices are the same as out regular non-destination wedding packages (not the additional travel/lodging costs).
Wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper to hire a wedding photographer based closer to the locations of my wedding or engagement session?
Often times hiring photographers from your wedding location is not only pricier but riskier in terms of actually receiving your images. We have had past clients that have decided against
hiring foreign photographers for a number of reasons. First, it can be harder to coordinate with them about the details of your wedding day due to language and communication issues. Also, after the wedding if you were to have any questions about your images it can be challenging dealing with a prolonged and inconvenient correspondence.
Where else have you shot a wedding or engagement session?
We’ve had the honor and pleasure of following our clients all over the country and
